    Queen Charlotte Statue
    This statue sits atop a fountain at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. Donated by a group known as the Queen's Table in 1990, this statue greets many visitors every year as they arrive in Charlotte.

    Historic Dowd House
    Historic Dowd House was built in 1879 as the home of Confederate Captain James C. Dowd. By 1917, this historic house became the headquarters of Camp Greene, a U.S. Army Military Base.

    Great Aunt Stella Center
    Built in 1914, the Stella Center was formerly known as the Tabernacle ARP Church. The property, including the attached four story educational building, was purchased in 1997 by Bruce Parker who re-named the facility after his Great Aunt, Stella. The non-denominational facility seats approximately 400 with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and complete disabled access.

    Historic Rosedale Plantation

    An 1815 plantation home, Historic Rosedale Plantation offers an example of North Carolina Federal period architecture. Guided tours of the plantation are scheduled between 1pm until 4pm on Thrusdays through Sundays. Other tours may be arranged in advance.
